June or July, 1827, 40.7 N, 36.6 E, intensity IX-X. Large parts of the towns Tokat (Sivas) and Erbaa were destroyed, the damage extended also to the surrounding country, damage at Tokat, Erbaa and vicinity, epicentre probably on the line Turhal-Tokat- AAlmus. (reference #1099)
