Earthquake in 1499 in Yi Liang, Yunnan Province. A noise came from the southeast similar to thunder, tens of thousands were killed. Continual jolts during 10 months. Calm returned at the end of 4 years. (reference #1096)

Reference #3939 lists shock struck Xiangyun in the same year [1499] and also struck Jingdong in the same month [July 1499].
