Four people injured at Taipei and one injured at I-lan. Some damage occurred at Taipei and in other parts of northeastern Taiwan. Recorded (5 TAP) in I-lan County and at Taipei; (4 TAP) in Hsin-chu, Hua-lien, Miao-li, Taipei and Tao-yuan Counties; (3 TAP) at Hua-lien, Keelung, Miao-li and Tai-chung; (2 TAP) in much of central Taiwan. Recorded (1 JMA) on Iriomote-jima and Yonaguni-jima, Ryukyu Islands.
