...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Ohio... Saint Marys River at St. Mary's River near Fort Wayne affecting Allen IN County. Saint Marys River near Decatur affecting Allen IN, Adams and Van Wert Counties. For the Saint Marys River...including Decatur, St. Mary's River near Fort Wayne...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Saint Marys River near Decatur. * WHEN...Until Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.5 feet, Many east side city streets and county roads are flooded. Evacuation of east side residents near Bellmont High School becomes necessary. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 23.4 feet and steady. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:40 AM EDT Sunday was 23.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 16.4 feet early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
