Showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon mainly
across parts of southeast Missouri and possibly southern Illinois. A
few storms may become severe with large hail and damaging winds the
main threat.

More activity is expected late tonight. A few strong storms are
possible very late tonight with damaging winds and large hail the
primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms will linger through much of the day
Monday.
A few strong to severe storms will be possible Monday with large
hail and damaging winds the main threats. Locally heavy rain is also
possible.
