The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1211 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado
  were located along a line extending from 3 miles east of Chunchula
  to 5 miles southwest of Mobile Regional Airport, moving east at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  I65 And AL 158 and Mobile Regional Airport around 1215 AM CDT.
  Saraland, Satsuma, Creola, Axis, and I65 And I165 around 1220 AM

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR CENTRAL MOBILE COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appear capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for southwestern
Alabama. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
southwestern Alabama.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Mobile county until 100 AM CDT
