and central Tippecanoe Counties through 730 PM EDT...
At 650 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lafayette, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, West Lafayette, Delphi, Shadeland, Dayton, Battle Ground,
and Purdue University.
