This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heavy rain and flash flooding are possible from widespread
thunderstorms across far southeast Kansas this morning. See the
Flood Watch for more details.

Heat indices from 100 to 106 are expected this afternoon, especially
across south-central Kansas. See Heat Advisory for more details.

Strong to severe storms are possible across central Kansas,
portions of south-central Kansas, and the Flint Hills this afternoon
into tonight. Up to quarter size hail and damaging winds around 60
to 70 mph will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat indices between 100 and 105 are possible both Tuesday and
Wednesday afternoons, especially across southern and southeast
Kansas.

Thunderstorm chances return each afternoon and evening for Wednesday
through Sunday.
