This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Scattered thunderstorms in northern Colorado and the Nebraska
Panhandle will track southeastward into portions of northwest Kansas
and southwest Nebraska late this afternoon and evening. A few severe
storms are possible, mainly between 5 PM and 9 PM MDT. Damaging
winds, possibly accompanied by blowing dust, appear to be the primary
hazard. A few instances of quarter size hail are possible.

Potential impacts include, but are not limited to, wind damage to
roofs, siding and trees, hail damage to vehicles and hazardous
driving conditions associated with reduced visibility in blowing
dust.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL YUMA COUNTY IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO...NORTHWESTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN
KANSAS AND SOUTHWESTERN DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA
THROUGH 445 PM MDT/545 PM CDT/...

At 422 PM MDT/522 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 4 miles southeast of Wray, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Yuma
County in northeastern Colorado, northwestern Cheyenne County in
northwestern Kansas and southwestern Dundy Counties in southwestern
Nebraska, including the following locations... Laird and Beecher
Island.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 233 and 243.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 543 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Haigler, or 11 miles northwest of St. Francis, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

  St. Francis.
