.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Winds gusting up to 35 mph combined with warm temperatures and
low humidity levels will create an elevated fire risk today for
some. Avoid or delay any outdoor burning.

The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal, level 1 out of 5, risk
for severe storms this afternoon and evening for much of the
area. Our far south was upgraded to a slight, level 2 out of 5,
risk for severe weather. The overall time frame for strong to
severe storms is 4 to 10 PM this afternoon and evening.

Low level moisture is limited so storm initiation may not occur until
4 to 6 PM. Once storms develop, hail and damaging winds will be
the primary risks.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is possible late this afternoon and evening.
