Severe storms with large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes are all possible, as is heavy rain. There is an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe weather both days in eastern to southern Iowa. A Flood Watch is in effect for the area. Please refer to the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for further details. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Storms continue from overnight Wednesday night into Thursday morning with additional development possible in the afternoon to evening. Severe storms with all hazards are possible. Additional storms are expected to develop on Saturday with severe storms possible in southern Iowa. A Flood Watch is in effect for the area. Please refer to the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for further details. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed at times today through Thursday.
