  is to the slab elevation of the lowest businesses and homes in
  Tilden. Numerous roads and low bridges flood and become very
  dangerous to motorists. Hundreds of livestock are trapped and
  potentially drowned in the flood plain, below Derby to the Choke
  Canyon Reservoir.

  - At 9:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 1.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Sunday
    evening and continue rising to 25.4 feet Monday evening.

  3408 from I-35, Valley Wells Road, the frontage road near mile
  marker 67. Flooding also occurs on Dobie Road including in and
  around Highway 624. FM 624 also floods south of Highway 97 toward
  Fowlerton.

Mostly showers and some isolated thunderstorms are persisting in the
Brush Country currently and will persist through the night. This is
in association with the mid-level disturbance and boundary located
in Central Texas. Activity will be mainly confined to the north
extending east to the Victoria Crossroads by the morning and
persisting through the day. With the presence of deep moisture, any
showers and storms that form will be capable to produce locally
heavy rainfall with rainfall rates around 1-3 inches per hour. Most
of the northern portions of the region will remain in a Slight risk
for Excessive Rainfall, though confidence is low in the exact
rainfall amounts.

Thursday and into the weekend chances we will see activity begin to
wane as drier air advects into the region. Can't rule out the
possibility for sea breeze born convection however. Seasonal
conditions will be expected as we head into the next week.

Heavy rainfall upstream from Laredo over the next couple days along

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN VICTORIA...EAST
CENTRAL GOLIAD AND NORTH CENTRAL REFUGIO COUNTIES THROUGH 730 AM
CDT...

At 644 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a landspout 7 miles west of McFaddin, moving
north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Victoria, east central Goliad and north central Refugio Counties.

This includes US Highway 77 near mile marker 592.
