Thunderstorms are possible across the central and western combined Panhandles this afternoon through this evening. Some storms may become severe, with damaging wind gusts and large hail being the primary hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. A Heat Advisory is in effect on Wednesday for the central and eastern Panhandles on Wednesday. An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for Palo Duro Canyon for Wednesday due to the potential for dangerously hot temperatures during the afternoon hours. Heat illnesses may occur given the very hot temperatures. Thunderstorms may be possible each afternoon through the evening across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles from Wednesday through Monday. Storms will have the potential to become severe on some of these days. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will likely be needed this afternoon and evening.
