...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SMITH...WOOD...SOUTHWESTERN
UPSHUR AND NORTHWESTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 453 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fruitvale to near Chandler to 10 miles
northeast of Palestine. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tyler, Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Mineola, Lindale, Bullard, Quitman,
Big Sandy, Hawkins, Lake Fork Reservoir, Pleasant Grove, Hainesville,
Golden, Mount Selman, Hoard, Mixon, Reese, Lake Palestine, Forest
Hill, and Noonday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

NORTHWESTERN GREGG COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 525 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
West Mountain, or near Gladewater, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Longview, White Oak, Gladewater, Gilmer, Clarksville City, East
Mountain, Rosewood, Liberty City, West Mountain, Union Grove, Warren
City, Midway, Holly Springs, Lafayette, Bettie, Grice, and Pritchett.

Idabel, or 25 miles west of Horatio, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.
