This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Slight tornado risk.
  Slight hail risk.
  Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive rainfall risk
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

A line of showers and thunderstorms will continue to move east
through the area this afternoon. Areas along and east of Highway
65 have the highest chances of severe storms. Ping bong ball
sized hail, damaging winds up to 70 mph, and brief tornadoes are
the potential hazards within the strongest storms. Some of these
storms could produce localized flooding especially in the eastern
Ozarks.

Non thunderstorm wind gusts around 30mph are likely overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Cooler temperatures in the 60s will occur on Sunday behind the
front. A slight warm up occurs on Monday followed by high
temperatures in the 60s and 70s with lows in the 40s for the rest
of the week. Even some mid to upper 30s will be possible by
Tuesday night.

At 241 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near St. Robert to near Niangua. Movement was
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Fort Leonard Wood, Lebanon, Waynesville, St. Robert, Richland,
Morgan, Crocker, Conway, Edgar Springs, Phillipsburg, Stoutland,
Plato, Twin Bridges, Lenox, Competition, Beulah, Lynchburg, Lake
Spring, Falcon, and Success.
