LEE...WESTERN WAKE...WEST CENTRAL JOHNSTON...CHATHAM AND SOUTHERN
DURHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT...

At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Goldston, or 10 miles northwest of Sanford, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsboro, Lake Wheeler, Siler City, Parkwood, Goldston, Lake Benson,
Research Triangle, Sanford, Seaforth Boat Dock, and Garner.
