The main threat from any thunderstorm activity will be cloud to ground lightning and hail to the size of peas. Some light snow accumulations will be possible, especially along the Continental Divide. Accumulations of one to two inches will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday High fire danger will exist across southern Colorado due to strong winds and low humidity values Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from the San Luis Valley, east across the the Plains. The strongest winds are expected Tuesday, where gusts in excess of 50 to 60 mph are forecast. Any fires that start could grow rapidly. In addition to the high fire danger on Tuesday areas of blowing dust and strong cross winds on north-south highways will produce hazardous travel conditions. Periods of snow will be possible along the Continental Divide through Thursday. Some accumulations are possible. A significant storm system looks to impact southern Colorado beginning Friday. Heavy precipitation looks possible including heavy snowfall over the Mountains. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
