Heavy rain is the primary threat from multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms along a stalled boundary through early next week. A few storms could also occasionally become severe. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... SKYWARN spotter activation is not expected to be needed through tonight.

COUNTY UNTIL 330 PM CDT...
At 252 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southwest of Dawson, or 21 miles west of Montevideo, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Providence, Dawson, Cerro Gordo and Lac Qui Parle State Park.
