A few storms may be severe with large hail and damaging winds,
primarily west of I-35.

...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN BROWN COUNTY
UNTIL 715 PM CDT...

At 645 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms 6 miles north of Springfield, or 16 miles south of
Redwood Falls, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Sleepy Eye, Comfrey, Evan, Cobden and Essig.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
