southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
America.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms: A few isolated thunderstorms are possible across
portions of interior and far southern South Florida late this
afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Rip current risk could increase again towards the end of the week
into next weekend.

Hazardous marine conditions are expected Thursday through Saturday
as easterly winds increase.

Weather spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail, and
flooding to the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.

...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern
Collier, northern Mainland Monroe and western Miami-Dade Counties
through 745 PM EDT...

At 655 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
strong thunderstorms capable of producing a funnel cloud along a line
extending from near Dade-Collier Training Airport to 7 miles
northeast of Fortymile Bend. Movement was south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes
         or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and
         blow around unsecured objects.

Loop Road Ee Center, Dade-Collier Training Airport, Fortymile Bend,
Shark Valley Obs Tower, The Redland, Big Cypress National Preserve,
and Everglades National Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Persons participating in outdoor activities should seek sturdy
shelter until these storms pass. Open shelters found in parks,
beaches, or golf courses offer no protection from the dangers of
lightning.
