CENTRAL CULBERSON COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM CDT /815 PM MDT/...

At 835 PM CDT /735 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near McKittrick Canyon, or 11 miles northeast of Pine
Springs, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is

At 926 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Malaga, or 24 miles southeast of Carlsbad, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Eddy,
southwestern Lea, northwestern Reeves and northeastern Culberson
