Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Flood Watch is in effect for northern Virginia, Washington DC,
and Montgomery County Maryland through tonight. An isolated
instance of flooding is possible elsewhere.

A Gale Warning is in effect for most of the area waterways for
this evening.

Special Marine Warnings may be needed for gusty thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening, mainly on the middle Chesapeake Bay and
lower tidal Potomac River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

An isolated instance of flooding is possible Wednesday.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds and hail
are possible Friday, but confidence is low at this time.
