This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A heat advisory is in effect into this evening across central and
north central Nebraska, where heat index values in excess of 100
degrees will continue.

There is a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon
and evening across much of western and north central Nebraska. The
primary threats will be large hail and damaging wind gusts, though a
tornado cannot be ruled out for areas east of Highway 83 and west of
Highway 61.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Near-daily thunderstorm chances are expected through Thursday
morning. There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms Monday
for areas along and south of Interstate 80. On Tuesday, there is a
Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms across the Panhandle, with a
Marginal Risk across the rest of the region. Beyond Tuesday, the
severe weather risk remains uncertain.

THROUGH 515 PM CDT...

At 427 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dunning, or 9 miles southwest of Brewster, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brewster, Dunning, Fox Bayou, and Almeria Meadow State Wildlife
Management Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 137 and 143.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 235 and 239.

         possible.
