An area of low clouds and fog has developed early this morning. Locally dense fog will reduce visibility 1/2 mile or less at times through mid-morning, especially along and east of the Buffalo Ridge in southwest Minnesota. Clusters of thunderstorms are expected to develop around the Highway 81 to Interstate 29 corridors in the early afternoon, moving east into southwest Minnesota through this evening. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible, with the primary threats of hail to 1.5 inches (ping pong ball size) and wind gusts to 60 mph.
