Main hazards will be 60mph wind gusts and isolated hail. After sunset the risk for severe weather will decrease but the chance of locally heavy rainfall will be possible from scattered thunderstorms as they cross southwest Kansas overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday and Wednesday night. A few of these storms will be capable of producing wind gusts to 50 mph or higher, hail and locally heavy rainfall. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.

MEADE AND SOUTHEASTERN HASKELL COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...
At 621 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Kismet, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Seward, western Meade and southeastern Haskell Counties.
