.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

- There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather
  Friday afternoon and evening east of the Laramie Range. All
  modes of severe weather are possible: hail, winds, tornadoes,
  and flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

- There is a Marginal Risk of severe weather for Saturday,
  mainly across western Nebraska. Primary hazards look to be
  hail, wind, and flash flooding.

- Drier and warmer conditions return mid-week and continue
  through the weekend.

At 209 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wheatland Reservoir Number 3, or 37 miles north of Laramie, moving
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

At 430 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rocking Star Ranch, or 12 miles northwest of Cheyenne, moving east at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.
