A Slight Risk for severe storms is in place across the outlook area
today. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to push into the area
with the frontal passage late this afternoon into this evening.
Scattered severe storms are possible, with damaging wind gusts and
large hail as the main threats.

Maximum heat index values are forecast to exceed 100 degrees across
