This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A slight risk, or level 2 out of 5, is posted for severe storms
mainly for this evening through the overnight hours. Damaging winds
up to and in excess of 60 mph and large hail 1 inch or greater in
diameter will be the main threats along with locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A marginal risk, or level 1 out of 5, is in place for severe storms
Saturday and again Sunday. Main threats will be damaging winds to
around 60 mph and large hail to around 1 inch in diameter.

At 1204 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Okaton, or near Murdo, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.
