...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LINCOLN AND WEST
CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTIES UNTIL 230 PM MDT...

At 158 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles north of Elk, or 24 miles southeast of Ruidoso, moving
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

  Mainly rural areas of Southern Lincoln and West Central Chaves
  Counties.
