A Slight, level two of five risk of severe thunderstorms, will exist
throughout central NC Friday evening. Damaging straight line wind
gusts and an isolated tornado will be possible. In addition,
southeasterly surface winds will increase and become gusty as high as
35 to 45 mph at times late Friday afternoon through evening.
Similarly strong, 35 to 45 mph wind gusts may result behind the
system Friday night.
