For severe storms that persist after dark, there will be a threat for spin-up tornadoes. The threat will be focused south of I-80 in southeast Nebraska with straight line winds the most likely hazard. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Sunday Several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through Tuesday afternoon. The greatest threat at this time appears to be large hail, some of which could be greater than 2 inches in diameter. Severe wind gusts, tornadoes and flash flooding will all be possible as well. We'll have additional chances for thunderstorms beginning Thursday afternoon and heading into next weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through Saturday.
