Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected through this
evening, especially near and north of Interstate 40. Isolated
damaging winds and flash flooding will be a concern with these
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Widespread showers and storms expected again on Friday. Damaging
winds and flash flooding will again be a concern with these
storms. The flood watch has been extended until Friday evening.

Heat index values will be around 100 degrees starting Monday and
creep upwards through Wednesday.
