...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DOUGLAS COUNTY THROUGH 230 AM
CDT...

At 128 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dent to near Ashby to Herman. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Alexandria, Evansville, Carlos, Brandon, Leaf Valley, Miltona,
Garfield, Belle River, Nelson, Millerville, and Lake Carlos State
Park.

This includes Interstate 94 in Minnesota between mile markers 81 and
107, and between mile markers 110 and 115.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
west central Minnesota.
