  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

.Localized heavy rain from Sunday night will result in the Minnesota 
River at Morton briefly going back above Minor Flood stage later 
this afternoon or tonight before falling back below flood stage 
mid-week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

.The forecast over the next week features little in the way of 
rainfall. Isolated to scattered storm chances return to the forecast 
this weekend through early next week, however widespread heavy rain 
is not anticipated. The Minnesota River at Morton is forecast to 
fall below flood stage tomorrow, which will end river flood concerns 
across local basins for the time being.
