This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across much of the
area. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to
take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Particularly
along the northern coastal municipalities.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic waters tonight. Hazardous conditions for small
craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly along the north and east facing beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The high risk of rip currents will continue through the end of
the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms will increase the risk of
flooding and mudslides for much of the period. However, Thursday
and Friday could be the wettest days. Choppy and hazardous seas
are expected across the Atlantic waters through early next week.
Breezy to windy conditions are expected on Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
