The Mississippi River along with portions of the Wapsipinicon, Cedar and Iowa Rivers are experiencing flooding. ...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Henderson,
southern Henry, central Des Moines, southeastern Van Buren, Lee and
northwestern Clark Counties through 215 PM CDT...
At 124 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lowell to 6 miles west of Croton. Movement was
east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
