The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Cattaraugus County in western New York...
  Southwestern Erie County in western New York...
  Northeastern Chautauqua County in western New York...

* Until 1245 PM EDT.

* At 1221 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Silver Creek,
  or 11 miles east of Dunkirk, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Evans, Eden, Silver Creek, Angola, North Collins, Derby, Evangola
  State Park, Angola on the Lake, North Boston, and Farnham.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 57A and 58.

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in

yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

SOUTHWESTERN ERIE COUNTY...

At 1233 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located over North Collins,
or 11 miles southwest of Hamburg, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Evans, Eden, Angola, North Collins, Evangola State Park, Derby,
Angola on the Lake, North Boston, Farnham, and Langford.

This includes Interstate 90 near exit 57A.
