This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms expected this
afternoon through early evening. Some storms may contain localized
heavy rainfall, especially over the high country. A limited threat
of burn area flash flooding will continue today. Across the
plains, a couple storms may become strong to severe later this
afternoon, with gusty winds and hail as the main threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Very hot temperatures along with dry conditions will develop from
Sunday through the middle part of next week. There may be a
few thunderstorms Sunday afternoon near the Wyoming-Nebraska
border with an isolated severe storm over the far northeast
corner.

THROUGH 500 PM MDT...

At 422 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Kiowa, or 31 miles west of Limon, moving northeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.
