...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SAN JUAN COUNTY
THROUGH 200 PM MDT...

At 120 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Shiprock, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shiprock, Nenahnezad, Red Valley, and Rattlesnake.

This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 1 and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
