...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN COLFAX COUNTY
THROUGH 200 PM MDT...

At 127 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Abbott, or 16 miles east of Springer, moving east at 5
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Colfax
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SANTA FE COUNTY
THROUGH 230 PM MDT...

At 155 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
eastern Santa Fe, moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Santa Fe, Tesuque, Rio En Medio in Santa Fe County, Chupadero, and
Agua Fria.

This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 279 and 286.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Heavy rains will cause water to pond on roads and in low spots. Fast
running water will quickly fill arroyos and ditches.
