* Until 730 AM EDT.
    
* At 652 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 10 miles west of Sebring, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

Major Hurricane Idalia continues to move quickly to the North
with a NNE turn still expected. Landfall is expected early this
morning along the big bend area. Catastrophic storm surge will
accompany the eyewall as it makes landfall, along with Hurricane
force winds, flooding rainfall and tornadoes. Bands of strong
winds and heavy rain continue to move through most of the forecast
area.

MVFR/IFR conditions will continue through most of the period as
bands from Hurricane Idalia move across terminals. Ceilings and
visibilities should be up and down during this time. Gusty winds
prevail into the afternoon as the storm moves north of the area.

over the eastern Gulf before making landfall along the big bend
