There is a Slight (Level 2) risk of severe weather across the region
today as a cold front moves through NC. Damaging winds and hail are
the primary threats, although an isolated tornado threat cannot be
entirely ruled out. The primary time period for severe weather will
be between 10 am and 5 pm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

thunderstorms from Mount Airy to Charlotte, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 35 mph. Very heavy rainfall.

         unsecured objects.
