For the Rockaway River...including Boonton Above Resvr...Minor 
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rockaway River at Boonton Above Resvr.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 2.0 feet, The Rockaway River leaves its banks and 
  begins to flood the river parking lot at St. Clare's Hospital.
  At 3.5 feet, The Rockaway River leaves its banks and floods 
  adjacent parks and trails in Denville including Gardner park.
  At 5.0 feet, Savage Road and other roads around Gardner Park in 
  Denville flood.
  At 5.5 feet, The main parking lot at St. Clare's Hospital begins 
  to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 PM EST Monday the stage was 4.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:15 PM EST Monday was 4.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 4.7
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    this evening.
  - Flood stage is 4.5 feet.
