...The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in New Jersey...

  Assunpink Creek At Trenton affecting Mercer County.



For the Assunpink Creek...including Trenton...Minor flooding is 
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 6.5 feet, Assunpink Park floods. George Page Park 
  floods. Minor street flooding in Trenton.
  At 9.0 feet, Mulberry Street begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 AM EST Monday the stage was 6.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this morning to a crest of 8.6 feet this morning. It will
    then fall below flood stage late this morning.
  - Flood stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.6 feet on 04/02/2005.
