...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SWIFT COUNTY
THROUGH 745 PM CDT...

At 709 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Correll, or 17 miles east of Ortonville, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Appleton, Lake Oliver, and Appleton Airport.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 17 and 26.
 U.S. Highway 59 between mile markers 146 and 153.

SOUTHWESTERN KANDIYOHI COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...

At 751 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Clara City, or 15 miles east of Montevideo, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clara City, Raymond, Prinsburg, Maynard, Pennock, Willmar Airport,
Gluek, and Priam.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 67 and 68.
 U.S. Highway 71 between mile markers 115 and 118.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
