...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of central St. Bernard
and northwestern Plaquemines Parishes through 215 PM CDT...

At 146 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 17 miles east of Shell Beach to 8 miles north
of Pointe A La Hache. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of central St.
Bernard and northwestern Plaquemines Parishes.

At 152 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Poydras, or near Belle Chasse, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Belle Chasse, Poydras and Violet.
