This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop this evening across
southwestern Nebraska. This activity is expected to spread north
into the Sandhills and portions of central Nebraska into the evening
hours. Some storms may be strong to severe with large hail, damaging
winds and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. The greatest
potential for scattered severe storm development will be across
portions of southwest Nebraska.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of north central Nebraska
this evening, continuing into Thursday. Heat indices of 100 to 105
degrees are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The Heat Advisory continues for portions of southwest and north
central Nebraska through late evening on Thursday. Heat indices of
100 to 105 degrees are expected.

There is a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms Thursday and Friday
across a large portion of western and north central Nebraska.
Damaging wind and large hail are the primary threats for both days.
