This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

There is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms from around 3 PM MDT
(4 PM CDT) through 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT) for locations generally east
of a line from McCook, Nebraska, to Tribune, Kansas, with a Marginal
Risk further west. The primary hazards will be large hail and
damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

The Tri-State Area has heat indices reaching into the triple digits
generally along and east of Kansas Highway 25 Monday through Friday.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Norton
County through 345 PM CDT...

At 311 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Hendley, or 13 miles north of Norton, moving south at
30 mph. An additional storm is located over Beaver City and moving
south towards Norton County.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.
