...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Moffat
County through 315 PM MDT...

At 249 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23
miles west of Craig, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Moffat
County, including the following locations... Lay and Maybell.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 59 and 75.
 Colorado 318 near mile marker 60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
