...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LEWIS AND EAST CENTRAL
OSWEGO COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM EDT...

At 133 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Camden, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Redfield, Whetstone Gulf State Park, Highmarket, Lyonsdale, Greig,
Port Leyden, Lyons Falls, Constableville, Turin, Osceola, West
Leyden, Mohawk Hill, North Osceola, Swancott Mill, Talcottville, and
Brantingham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central New
York.
